Intermission

I have been back home now for 5 days and I think that my soul is still somewhere between here and North America. My body clock has been wreaking a terrible revenge upon me since getting back. Waking up at odd times at night, spaced out by day, and now the obligatory cold. I suppose traversing 8 timezones in 2 weeks might do that to you.

Back in England, it even snowed this morning. Doom-sayers reckon that the dusting of snow, all 2 mm of it, is likely to destroy any chance I mnight have of getting to London tomorrow morning for my second interview with The Corporation. With all this in the way I'm beginning to think that the job isn't worth it. The Sun newspaper also seems more banal than usual but that might just be because of the Christmas season.

What with looking for work and having no money anyway it's going to be a while before I get to go away again. But I'm not sure I really want to do anything like I have done. I very nearly went crazy at one point so I really need to start to settle in one place for a while and try and patch-togther a life for my enjoyment.

I'm not sure I'll be updating this blog anytime soon unless people find my life in Surrey exciting but I'll put in odd things now and then.
